The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) was signed into law on March 18, and provides paid emergency family leave in limited circumstances, as well as paid sick leave for people affected by COVID-19. These provisions will take effect April 1, 2020 and expire on March 31, 2021.
Please review the DOL poster, UCF’s new Emergency Paid Leave policy and corresponding request form. There is a lot of information contained in these documents and you may have questions.
